A new chapter for a ROC Champion

Julie Massa’s last official day at CASA of Oregon will be December 31st. Julie has worked tirelessly in her 9 years at CASA and has helped convert 15 cooperatives into resident ownership. Her leadership, knowledge, and dedication to the work that she does will be sorely missed.  It has been a pleasure being her supervisor for my limited time at CASA.

For those that are wondering what’s next for Julie:  Julie is starting her own cooperative development and technical assistance consulting business. She’ll be assisting and promoting all types of cooperatives, including food, producer, marketing, and worker cooperatives. She shares that she will always support the ongoing success of the manufactured housing cooperatives in Oregon in any way she can. Julie is very excited about this new opportunity and told me that she will always be very grateful for her time at CASA of Oregon.

Thank you Julie for all of the work that you have done for this organization.  It is greatly appreciated and I hope that our paths cross in your next adventure.
