New York ROC takes marketing efforts online

ROCK TAVERN, N.Y.— The marketing website for Brittany Terrace by BT Inc. recently launched, marking the latest enhancement by the new resident-owned community.

The website features information, photos, and videos of the community, which is located in the Hudson Valley region.

“We are so excited about our new website,” said Brittany Terrace Member Patty Reynolds. “This site is going to be a great central resource for information for both current residents and potential residents. We hope it will answer any questions potential homebuyers may have.”

One exciting feature of the website is the virtual tour, which is a 3.5-minute video showing a drive through the community.

“We showed a sneak peek of the site at our last Board meeting, and everyone was so excited to see their homes featured on the virtual tour,” Reynolds said.

Another highlight of the website gives residents looking to sell their home the ability to list it directly on the site for free. ROC Members are also eligible for a discount when listing their home on MHVillage.com, a real estate website designed exclusively for manufactured homes.

Brittany Terrace, an 88-home community, became resident-owned on July 3. Last fall, they received a re-branding grant from the ROC Association to enhance signage within their community. Brittany Terrace worked with PathStone Corporation, the ROC USA® Network affiliate in New York, during the purchase process and continues to receive coaching, leadership development training, and more from the Rochester-based nonprofit.

ROC USA® has built more than 60 marketing websites for ROCs all across the country. The sites serve as a thorough online real estate brochure designed to attract new Members to either homes for sale or sites in which to set a home. The service is part of the ROC Marketing Program and is free to ROCs that formed since ROC USA’s launch in 2008. Older ROCs can contract for a similar site for a fee.
